Yes, we are safe and sound in SC now. The last week and a half has been a whirl wind. School finished out. Len came back. We partied and cried with our church family. Packers came and took all our stuff away. We drove down. And then the movers came with all our stuff.
Len has been on "Mission Unpack" intently since Thursday! The man in seriously focused and determined! Thursday we got all the beds put together and functioning. Friday we got the kitchen and office put together and working. Saturday we stocked up on groceries and got our cable/internet up and running. Sunday (today) we went to church and enjoyed a church picnic in the park afterwards. We have been busy, busy!
So far we LOVE the neighborhood and house! Really great young families just like us and everyone is super friendly. We're slowly learning our way around and getting a feel for the area. Our house is looking more and more like a home and less and less like a brown sea of boxes. The big checkmark for me will be when we get pictures up on the wall!
