Today is my sweet sister's birthday.
This picture was taken last summer, pre-baby and pre-cancer. In January Hayley found out she was having her 2nd girl and she also learned that she had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 2. She began chemo in March, had her healthy baby girl "G" in June, and then finished up her chemo that month. In July she received the great news from her PET scan that she was cancer free! Hallelujah! Despite the great news, Hayley is still finishing out her treatment plan and started on 3 weeks of radiation this month.
Today is her birthday, and tomorrow and Friday will be her last days of radiation! This has been a long, trying year for Hayley and her family, yet we are so thankful for how God has seen her through it all.
Thank you for the many prayers! If you are friends with Hayley on Facebook, please give her a "Happy Birthday" shout-out! She deserves an extra special birthday celebration!
