Our oldest, 'R', recently participated in a Mock Trial with her homeschool group. It is all she has talked about for the past 3 or 4 months. They have discussed, analyzed, practiced, rehearsed, and debated everything about this trial endlessly! At home, we have seen a passion ignite in our 'R'. She has loved all of this debating and lawyer work. It puts her strong willed personality, intense competitiveness, and desire to argue down a positive path! God is so good in how he uses our talents!
The mock trial took place in a real courtroom in the beautiful supreme court here in Honolulu. It is a gorgeous building that was originally created using plans for a palace! Fun history field trip and a great learning experience!
