In reality it was 11 years ago! We've now both moved out of Texas, gotten married, and are enjoying and learning from this wild adventure called parenthood!
Sadly, with all the hectic schedule of our lives, we haven't seen each other in over 5 years! She had never met my youngest two kids and I had never met her two little ones either . . . until Monday!
Monday afternoon we all loaded up and drove an hour up the road to Williamsburg to meet Janet and her crew for dinner. They just happen to be in the area visiting family and we took advantage of the close proximity.
We had a great time catching up, even if it was only for an hour or two.
