It's hard to believe that is us, only seven years ago today! We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into! Of course we knew that we loved each other and we pledged to love each other until death do us part. But we didn't know the path our life together would go down and where we'd be in just a few short years! Now, here we are with 3 girls and about to be sent off to God knows where with the Navy, leaving most of our family behind in Texas!
Don't we look so young and naive!Seven years goes by fast. Kara's gone through only three jobs, Len four or five. We've lived in three different cities, one condo and two houses. Our three girls were each born in three different hospitals. We've gone from a Ford Ranger and a Ford Contour, to a Mazda 626 and Dodge Grand Caravan, to just a Grand Caravan (but an almost brand new one, thanks to that stupid deer). We've also gone from not being in the ministry to full-time ministry to military ministry (plus one three-year Masters Degree).
We are still very much in love and love being together. We still think back on the kiss that started it all and smile. Thousands of kisses later we are still in the state of bliss!

BTW, we HOPErs all *know* another move is in your future, but it's kinda' sad to think of church without your little ones...and who's going to give us our U2 fix?

I still remember getting a call that you were dating a "younger" guy. Ha Ha! Glad you decided to keep him around! Your wedding was wonderful and I can't believe it was 7 years ago. Where did the time go?
