It's been a while since I last posted, but everything is going good here on the home front. We're getting into a steady routine and the emotional outbursts are becoming less frequent and less traumatic! (Thank you for your prayers.) Us girls have actually been staying very busy and having some good girl fun while Daddy is away. A week and a half ago, a good friend from college came into town. She hung out with us for the weekend, and even did "Fancy Friday" too. It was a great break having an extra pair of hands for a few days, not to mention actually having some real adult conversation. Plus my friend Laura always brings laughter with her sarcastic, dramatic storytelling. Good comic relief for me who always needs to laugh more!

Then last weekend, the girls and I packed up and headed to Dallas to visit my long time friend, Tiffany, and her "children". It was a bit chaotic to say the least because there were 2 adults, 3 kids, and 2 pets all in a small one bedroom apartment! Despite the comfy quarters we had a great time visiting, playing, and laughing, and I survived my first solo mom traveling adventure!
