Goodbye boredom and sleep!
Since yesterday was our only free soccer Saturday of the season and we get one free military pass to Busch Gardens a year, we met my sister and brother-in-law at Busch Gardens. While it was a very, very long day, everyone had a great time! We rode lots of rides, saw a show, and got our exercise for the week in walking (and pushing for the adults - we took turns with the monstrous double stroller!).
'R' was up for riding almost anything that she was tall enough to ride. Hands down, she rode the most rides! As it was getting darker in the late afternoon/evening and all the Halloween stuff was kicking into high gear, 'R' got a little spooked by it all. She clung to me and the stroller like glue!
'B' started off the morning kind of grouchy and cranky and was scared of all the rides she labelled "fast". However after she broke down crying because 'R' was riding more rides than her (Duh?) she finally began to suck it up and enjoy more! By the time we were getting ready to leave, she was happy and hyper, loving it all!
'N' LOVED Busch Gardens! She squealed with delight every time she was near a big roller coaster. Any ride we took her on, she laughed & squealed her little heart out. Several times she even pitched fits when we had to wait our turn for a ride or when we had to leave a ride. If they would have let her, she would have ridden everything in that place! Dare-devil extraordinaire!
All in all, it was a successful adventure to our first amusement park! We have lots of pictures to prove our fun!

(Good thing I snapped this next picture when I did. Seconds later, 'B' changed her mind and began crying. The attendants let her get out before the ride began.)

How fun! Counting down the days with you till your family is together!
They obviously take after their daredevil Grammy:) Wish I could've been there!
